Welcome to The Ashley Inn (c. 1832) with it’s stately federal style architecture and spacious parlor, dinning room and piazzas, upstairs and down.

Be pampered in a luxury historic bed and breakfast in Charleston noted for it’s southern hospitality. The inn offers six guest rooms and one suite all furnished with antique four-poster, pencil-post and canopy beds. All of our rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. Don’t forget to visit our Accommodations Page for photos and descriptions of our rooms. The gardens feature a charming sitting area and beautiful fountain where you can enjoy the tranquility and rejuvenate your spirit.

Located in the residential historic district of the city, the inn is convenient to major attractions, tours and fabulous restaurants – several of those great restaurants less than a block from the inn. Across the street from the Ashley you will find one of the more notable landmarks in all of Charleston – St. Luke’s Chapel – originally built in 1776 as an arsenal.
